OpenChamber review

OpenChamber is an open-source workspace built on the OpenCode agent, with desktop apps for macOS, Windows and Linux, a browser version and phone companions. It is MIT-licensed and shows no price. We read the vendor's site and GitHub pages in October 2026. We did not run an independent test.

Who it is for

Developers who already use OpenCode and want a desktop, browser and phone front end for it, including runs across several models.

What stands out

Multi-run sends one task to several models, up to five according to the README. Each run can get its own git worktree and branch, and a fusion step can combine results into a new session.

Remote access options include a QR-paired private relay, direct connections, tunnels and SSH. The download page lists an iOS app on TestFlight and an Android APK. The page says the phone apps run no agents and connect to OpenChamber on your computer.

Sessions can start from GitHub issues and pull requests. Prompts can run once or on a daily, weekly or cron schedule. A VS Code extension is also available.

Desktop v2.5.3 was released on 28 October 2026. The repository showed 12,290 stars on 29 October 2026.

Price and licence

The LICENSE file is MIT. The site and download page list no price, only a Patreon donate link (seen 29 October 2026).

Where it falls short

Alternatives

Orca runs many agent CLIs in worktrees from one desktop app. Happy continues coding-agent sessions from a phone.
