About Termdex

Termdex is a reference index of SSH clients, terminal emulators and AI coding agent workspaces. It exists because the choices keep multiplying and most comparison pages are either a thin list of affiliate links or a vendor's own brochure.

Our conflict of interest

We make MXterm Pro, a desktop workspace that combines terminal panes, SSH with SFTP, and a room for running several AI coding agents. This site is not neutral in the way a site without a product would be, and we say so on every page where MXterm appears.

What we do about it is described on How we collect and rate: the same data format for every tool, weaknesses listed for our own product, and no ranking of competitors against each other.

Money

There are no affiliate links, ads or paid placements on this site today. If that changes, the affected pages will say so before anything else.
