Agent Orchestrator review

Agent Orchestrator, branded Orchestrator.inc, is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux that runs several coding agents at once, each in its own git worktree. The local app is free and Apache-2.0 licensed; paid cloud plans start at $20 per month. We read the vendor's site and GitHub pages in October 2026. We did not run an independent test.

Who it is for

Developers who want a free, open-source app that splits work across many coding agents and tracks each pull request.

What stands out

An orchestrator agent plans the work and starts one worker per piece. Each worker gets its own worktree and branch. A board sorts sessions into lanes such as working, needs you, in review and ready to merge.

Failed checks, review comments and merge conflicts are sent back to the worker that owns the branch. The site lists 38 supported coding agents, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, opencode, Aider and Gemini CLI. You pick the agent per task.

A mobile app for iPhone and Android pairs with the desktop for alerts and replies. The latest desktop release was v0.14.7, on 28 October 2026.

The repository showed 13,837 stars on 29 October 2026. The repository moved from Untrivial-ai to OrchestratorInc.

Price and licence

Seen 29 October 2026: the free tier covers local use with no account. Starter is $20 per month and Pro is $40 per month, both for cloud workspaces with caps on agents and session hours. Enterprise is custom. The code is under Apache-2.0.

Where it falls short

Alternatives

Free alternatives with a similar worktree approach include Orca and Superset.

Agent Orchestrator weak points
